Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing the Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive sealed proposals for Managed Print and Copier Services under RFP #22RFP85.
Background
Williamson County seeks a comprehensive Managed Print Services contract to assist with the assessment, consolidation and co-term leasing of its multifunction devices (copy/print/fax), maintenance services and associated consumable supplies. The goals of the assessment and resulting contract and action plan are to save costs, provide device standardization, co-term leasing, provide redundant functionality where needed, address special use cases, and reduce the number of desktop printers throughout County offices.
The resulting project may require a phased, multi-year approach which will be predicated on the business case produced by the assessment. County seeks the assessment services as no charge. The resulting contract and action plan will be presented during the budgeting cycle for FY 23 consideration. Department point of contact is Joy Simonton.
