Discuss, consider, and recognize Williamson County Public Affairs for receiving the 2022 Golden Post Award for Best Use of Long-Form Video at the Government in Social Media conference.
Background
Williamson County Public Affairs entered the virtual ribbon-cutting video for the Brushy Creek Regional Trail Phase V in the Golden Post Awards. Phase V meanders along Brushy Creek for an out and back 1-mile trek just west of Chisholm Trail Road in Round Rock. The video was created by Lauren Gammon and featured a parody of "Be Our Guest" written by Commissioner Terry Cook and sung by Cathie Sheridan. Drew Carman, Rvi Planning, was the designer and project lead for the trail. The video also featured several cast members from the Williamson County Parks Department.
