Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a donation from Samsung to the Williamson County Rural Relief Fund. The fund was created by the Williamson County Farm Bureau as a non-profit relief fund for rural residents of Williamson County who have been impacted by the recent tornados that hit Williamson County on March 21.
Background
Bob Avant with the Williamson County Farm Bureau will accept a check from representatives of Samsung for the Williamson County Rural Relief Fund. The Williamson County Farm Bureau Board approved $25,000 to start the WCRRF, a non-profit relief fund for rural residents of Williamson County who have been impacted by the recent tornados that hit Williamson County on March 21. Donations can be made by contacting Susan Pick, WCFB, at 512-365-5212.
