Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a policy exception for the Tax Assessor/Collector to move salary surplus dollars of 9,655.44 from PCN 1448 to PCN 1444.
Background
This is a request for an exception to the Compensation - Position Salary Surplus policy. PCN 1448 Tax Specialist II has a surplus of funds that the Tax Assessor requests to be moved into PCN 1444 Assistant Tax Manager. The purpose of this request is to promote and compensate the employee that is currently fulfilling the job duties of the Assistant Tax Manager. There is no change in the overall budget. This movement of funds has been discussed with Human Resources.
