The bid has been reviewed and the apparent low bidder, Austin Underground, Inc., was found to be responsive and materially balanced.  The bid was $1,862,199.25 which was 29.6% lower than the engineer's estimate. In addition to meeting the bid qualifications subject to being the only bidder, Austin Underground, Inc., has successfully completed previous projects for local cities performing similar work.
