Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a request for the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter to apply for a grant to aid in the care of shelter dogs and community cats from the Best Friends Animal Society.
Background
As the shelter works to not only maintain, but improve the Save Rate of animals it serves, the shelter is requesting a grant from Best Friends Animal Society for $60,000. These funds would be used for community cat clinics, positive reinforcement based dog training, and additional dog cabins for enrichment and additional housing.
