Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the disposal of county assets through trade-in (quote attached) pursuant to Tex. Local Gov't Code 263.152(2) and the purchase of seven (7) Ambulances - Wheeled Coach Ford F450 Type1 from Siddons – Martin, LLC in the amount of $2,005,697.00 through the H-GAC purchasing cooperative contract #AM10-20 (EMS) and authorizing the purchase.

Background

The attached quote is for the purchase of seven (7) EMS Ambulances for $303,671.00 each with the trade in allowances of county assets unit numbers: ET1572, ET1601, ET1603, ET1792, ET1793, and ET1796 for $121,000.00.  An HGAC service fee of $1,000.00 applies.  Funding Source is 01.0100.0540.005700 and the Department Point of contact is Mike Knipstein.
