Williamson County sent out over one thousand (1,000) notifications with fifteen (15) document takers and one (1) submitting firm.  The bid has been reviewed and the only bidder, Vulcan Construction Materials LLC, was found to be responsive and materially balanced for providing Aggregates for Surface Treatments – Grades 5 and FS. Grade 3 was a NO BID line.  Should the county seek to order this material, per policy, a quote will be obtained and brought the Commissioner's Court for approval for a period of 12 months at which time we may seek to re-bid the item.  The initial term of this contract is for one (1) year with two (2) optional twelve (12) month renewals.
