Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $422,565.69 for Project 22IFB141 CR 258 Extension (Joe Bland Construction) P277 Funding Source: Road Bond.

This Change Order adds items to the contract for safety improvements on Ronald Reagan Blvd. at Elizabeth Parkway. Ronald Reagan Blvd. is being widened on the southbound portion of the roadway to allow for a left turn lane onto Elizabeth Parkway and a southbound center acceleration lane for Elizabeth Parkway traffic entering Ronald Reagan Blvd.

Multiple items will be added by this Change Order. Please see attached Change Order.

This Change Order results in a net increase of $422,565.69 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $6,259,320.05. The original Contract amount was $5,836,754.36. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $422,565.69 has been added to the Contract, resulting in a 7.24% net increase in the overall Contract cost. As a result of this Change Order, zero (0) days will be added to the contract.
