Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #22RFP73, Third Party Administrator for Medical, Dental, and Vision Programs, to the best proposer, United Healthcare Services, Inc.
Background
Williamson County sent out eleven hundred and thirty-three (1,133) notifications with thirty-five (35) document takers with eight (8) vendors submitting responses. The solicitation was seeking suppliers to provide Third Party Administrator (TPA) services for employee Medical, Dental, and Vision Programs. The evaluation committee reviewed and scored the submittals and the recommendation is to award to the lowest and best offer through negotiations to United Healthcare Services, Inc. The contract will commence January 01, 2023, as an initial (two) 2-year agreement with options for (four) 4, (twelve) 12- month renewals.
