Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the agreement between Brandy P. Miller, Ph.D., PC and Williamson County for Psychological Services for the Williamson County Sheriff's Office in the annual not-to-exceed amount of $15,0000 and exempting this agreement from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(4) a personal or professional service, and authorizing execution of the agreement attached.

Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.  Dr. Brandy P Miller, Ph.D., P.C., will provide professional psychological and counseling services to assist employees or officers that work for the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.  Provider will be compensated at a rate of $300.00 per treatment session to include telephone, video conferencing or in person methods.  In the event that Dr. Miller or a mental health provider within the network is subpoenaed to testify the hourly rate shall be $300.00.  Fees under this agreement are subject to budget and available funding for each fiscal year. The fees under this agreement shall be subject to a not-to-exceed amount of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) for each county fiscal year. Initial term will end 9-30-2023 and may be extended for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods.  This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.2004.004100. Department contact is Susan Carmack or Terri Countess.
