Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing Addendum #1 for IFB #23IFB26 Fleet Vehicles Fiscal Year 2023-2024 for various Williamson County Departments.
Background
The Fleet Services Division is requesting that Williamson County issue an addendum to the referenced solicitation to gather bid pricing on Chevrolet pick-up trucks as a back-up purchasing plan in addition to the Ford pick-up trucks specified for Budget Year 23-24. In the event that we do not receive allocation for Ford pick-up trucks, the County would then have the option to purchase Chevrolet pick-ups trucks. The Purchasing Department seeks the Commissioner’s Court approval prior to adopting this overlay purchasing strategy.
