Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving and ratifying two (2) emergency agreements with Enertech, in the amount of $4,060.43 each for tower repair services for a total of $8,120.86 and exempting the services from the competitive bidding requirements as per Section 262.024 (a)(3) [an item necessary because of unforeseen damage to public property] and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
These service agreements are for the emergency tower repair to include removal and replacement of ice damaged microwave dishes caused by winter storm Mara. Prime Tower is located at 1058 Rabbit Hill Road,Georgetown, 78626 and the Granger Tower is located at 5960 CR 327, Granger, TX 76530. Funding Source is 01.0507.0507.004987. Department point of contact is Chris Ball.
