Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Interlocal Agreements for Emergency and Non-Emergency Law Enforcement Dispatch Services between Williamson County, Texas and each of the political subdivisions that Williamson County Emergency Communications provides nonemergency and emergency law enforcement dispatching services to in Williamson County; and authorize execution of the agreements.

Interlocal Agreements for Emergency and Non-Emergency Dispatch Services are being entered into with each of the political subdivisions that Williamson County Emergency Communications provides nonemergency and emergency law enforcement dispatching services to in Williamson County in order to set forth the obligations, acknowledgments and covenants of the parties in relation to such services as part of Williamson County Emergency Communications application for an Originating Agency Identifier (ORI)-(N) Dispatching/911 Communication Center Noncriminal Justice Agency with the Texas Department of Public Safety.  The ILAs do not set any fees or costs for the dispatching services.  However, a specific provision has been set forth in the ILAs regarding the county’s reservation of the right to request monetary consideration for such services in the future.
