Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving and ratifying the Emergency Services Contract #2023176 between Williamson County and South Texas Restoration, Inc. for the amount of $5,059.22, and exempting the service from the competitive bidding requirements as per Section 262.024 (a)(3) [an item necessary because of unforeseen damage to public property] and authorizing the execution of the agreement.

Background

This Emergency Services Contract is to repair roofs at four (4) separate tower site locations from ice damage due to winter storm Mara.  No damages were found to the interiors of these structures.  This contract includes hauling off the debris.  Legal and Contract Audit have reviewed this contract.  Funding source is 01.0507.0507.004987 per FY23 budget. The department point of contact is Rick Akins.
