Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving purchase of one (1) 2023 Sierra 1500 GMC from Gunn Chevrolet for the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, in the amount of $41,893.75, per Bodyboard contract #601-19.
Background
Approval of this purchase will support the Williamson County Sheriff's Office and will replace the vehicle designated on Purchase Order #181811 Item #15 approved in Commissioner's Court on 9.20.2022 to Caldwell Country Chevrolet - Ford per IFB #22IFB130 and Gunn Chevrolet having a replacement available. Caldwell Country Chevrolet - Ford cannot fulfill that order due to lack of inventory. Line Item #15 on Purchase Order #181811 will be canceled with the vendor upon approval of this item. Funding Source is 01.0100.0560.005700 as per FY23 budget. Fleet Services and the Budget Office have both reviewed this item. Department point of contact is John Foster.
