Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #23RFP64 Standby Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch Preventative Maintenance, Repair and Rental Service to the only submitting proposer Austin Generator Services.
Background
Williamson County sent out 1,434 solicitation invitations with 41 document takers and received one (1) proposal. The proposal has been reviewed, analyzed and deemed competitive by the evaluation committee. The committee has recommended award to the sole proposer Austin Generator Services, for an initial term of two (2) years, commencing on or after October 1, 2023, and ending on September 30, 2025, and with four (4) annual extension options thereafter. In addition to meeting all proposal specifications, Austin Generator Service has held previous contracts with Williamson County. The RFP and the vendor's response will serve as the contract document, there will not be an additional ensuing agreement necessary per Legal. Funding sources are as follows: 01.0100.0509.004500 - $100,000.00; 01.0507.0507.004510 - $20,000.000 for a total of $120,000.00. Department points of contacts: Shantil Moore and Christi Stromberg.
