Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) and Williamson County for HazMat training and execution of the agreement #2023248 and exempting the purchasing from the competitive bidding requirement through Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a) (4) a personal or professional service.
Background
Williamson County HazMat plans to utilize TEEX for Hazmat Technician Training in the not-to-exceed amount of $18,780.00 and Hazmat Incident Commander Training in the not-to-exceed amount of $9,300.00. The ILA and Letter of Agreement contraining the program detilas are attached. The funding source is 01.0100.0542.004228. The department point of contact is Hank Jones.
