Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approval of the final plat for the Lariat Section 6 subdivision – Precinct 2.

Background

This is the next section of the Lariat (aka Northgate Ranch Phase 2) development.  It consists of 140 residential lots, 6 open space lots, 4 private alley lots and 5,333 linear feet of new roads to be maintained by the North San Gabriel MUD No. 1 beginning on September 13, 2023.  Roadway and drainage construction is not yet complete, but a performance bond in the amount of $770,699.83 has been posted with the County to cover the cost of the remaining construction.

2022-12-05 – Initial submittal of the final plat
2022-12-26 – receipt of financial security for the remaining construction
2023-01-04 – 1st review complete with comments
2023-01-18 – 2nd submittal of final plat
2023-02-07 – 2nd review complete with comments
2023-04-19 – 3rd submittal of final plat
2023-05-03 – 3rd review complete with comments 
2023-07-13 – 4th submittal of final plat
2023-07-13 – 4th review complete with comments clear
2023-07-13 – final plat placed on the July 18, 2023 Commissioners Court agenda for consideration
