Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #23RFP66 Berry Springs Park Improvements to Chasco Constructors, Ltd, LPP in the amount of Six Hundred Twenty-Three Thousand, Four Hundred Thirty-Nine Dollars ($623,439.00) based on the initial proposed construction budget and authorize the execution of the contract. The funding source is P559.
Background
Williamson County sent out over8,700 notifications with five (5) vendors submitting responses for a Construction Manager at Risk for Berry Springs Park Improvements. Work includes construction of a new park visitor center, new remote restrooms, expanded parking, new park maintenance compound, concrete trail extension, open-air event pavilion, campsite, and utility enhancements. After evaluating and negotiations, the evaluation committee is recommending award to Chasco Constructors, Ltd, LPP. The attached proposal includes the Best and Final Offer (BAFO). The funding source is P559 and the point of contacts are Trenton Jacobs and Russell Fishbeck.
