Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on confirming the appointment of Hector L. Rivera and Anthony M. Mayberry as a Pct 1 Deputy Constables for Williamson County pursuant to Texas Local Government Code 86.011.

Hector L. Rivera has been selected to fill the open position of Deputy Constable after having successfully completed an extensive background investigation and interview process.  Mr. Rivera is currently a licensed Texas Peace Officer and holds a Master Peace Officer certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. He served for 18 years with the Austin Police Department with his last assignment as the Sgt. over the Child Abuse Investigations. He is a US Army Veteran and resident of Round Rock.

Anthony Mayberry has been selected to fill the open position of Deputy Constable after having successfully completed an extensive background investigation and interview process.  Mr. Mayberry is currently a licensed Texas Peace Officer and holds a Master Peace Officer certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. He is honorably retired from the Leander Police Department. He is U.S. Navy veteran and resident of Georgetown.
