Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 6 in the amount of ($1,016,961.92) for Project T3346 East Wilco Highway (Southeast Loop Segment 1, Phase 1) (James Construction Group) P: 463 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
Existing utility conflicts are preventing work needed to tie-in the new alignment portion of the project into CR 138. This change will remove work associated with this tie-in. This work will be completed as part of a future project once utilities are cleared.
This Change Order results in a net decrease of $1,015,961.92 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $12,160,165.73. The original Contract amount was $11,526,789.09. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $633,376.64 has been added from the Contract, resulting in a 5.49% net increase in the Contract cost.
