Discuss, consider and take any appropriate action on approving Amendment #2 for Jail Inmate Food Services contract #21RFP4 between Aramark Correctional Services, LLC and Williamson County to authorize price increase to provide jail inmate food service pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov't Code 262.024(a)(8) and 351.001, for the same terms and conditions as the existing contract with an increase in the per-meal price detailed in the attached spreadsheet. Pricing shall be effective November 23, 2023 through November 22, 2024.
Background
The original contract award was approved by the Commissioners Court on November 23, 2021. This Amendment #2 is the second increase option for the Jail Inmate Food Services contract #21RFP4. The per-meal price is increasing by 7% per line item, per Paragraph 6 of the original agreement. The funding source is 01.0100.0570.003306. Department contact is Susan Carmack.
