Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Leander and Liberty Hill Independent School District regarding the governmental participation in the design and construction of a traffic signal at the Bar W Ranch Boulevard and Via De Sienna Boulevard intersection with Ronald W. Reagan Boulevard.
Background
This traffic signal is important for the safety of travelers and parents providing transportation for their children to Bar-W Ranch Elementary School. The ILA agreement is a three-way cost share of the estimated costs of design and construction in the amount of $900,000. The agreement has been reviewed by Auditing, Legal and the County Engineer. The City of Leander approved the agreement on 12/21/2023 and Liberty Hill ISD approved it on 12/18/2023.
