Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding the engagement of BLX Group LLC to provide professional advice and counsel relating to cash flow analyses and bidding agent services in connection with Williamson County’s investment portfolio; and exemption of these services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 262.024(a)(4).

BLX is currently under contract related to Arbitrage calcuations.  This engagement letter will allow BLX to assist with management of investments for Bond proceeds as it relates to Arbitrage compliance. Scott Heselmeyer, County Treasurer, will be in Commissioners Court should there be questions.
