Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 5 in the amount of $12,600.00 for Project 22IFB110 SW Bypass Extension (Joe Bland Construction) P: 352 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order provides the final balancing for the overruns/underruns of contract quantities on the roadway portion of the Southwest Bypass Extension project that are a result of addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plans.
This Change Order results in a net increase of $12,600.00 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $3,914,316.23. The original Contract amount was $4,288,543.00. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $374,226.77 has been deducted from the Contract, resulting in an 8.73% net decrease in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
