Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the disposal of county assets through trade-in (quote attached) pursuant to Tex. Local Gov't Code 263.152(2) and the purchase of eight (8) Ambulances - Wheeled Coach Ford F450 Type1 from Siddons Martin Emergency Group, LLC in the amount of $2,464,510.00 through the purchasing Co-Operative HGAC contract #AM10-23 (EMS) and authorizing the execution of the purchase contract.

Background

The attached quote is for the purchase of eight (8) EMS Ambulances for $2,602,360.00 with the trade in allowance of county assets unit numbers: ET1791, ET1952, ET1794, ET1817, ET1797, ET1815 and ET1816 for $138,850.00. In addition to an HGAC service fee of $1,000.00 which also applies. The funding source is 01.0100.0540.005700 and the EMS point of contact is Mike Knipstein.
