Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Williamson County Addendum #2024271 for Gaston & Sheehan Auctioneers for disposal of county vehicles and vehicle equipment through auction, as per BuyBoard contract #708-23, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.

Background

Approval of this addendum will support the operations of the Williamson County Fleet department by auctioning off County vehicles, as well as equipment and such property.  This is a revenue contract.  The auctioneers will inventory, photograph and list the vehicles for auction to be sold. This will be at no charge to the County. The auctioneers will charge and retain a 12.5% buyer's premium. The Auctioneers will receive inventory from the county or coordinate towing services on an as-needed basis.  This contract shall continue in full force until September 30, 2027, with an option to renew this addendum for up to two (2) additional one-year terms. There will be no commission fee for the seller.  Department Point of Contact is Kevin Teller.
