Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $67,778.02 for Project 22IFB138 CR 366 (James Construction) P: 296 Funding Source: Road Bond.

Background

This Change Order adds striping items to the Contract that were not included in the original plans. With portions of the project having concrete paving, sealer is required for the striping to adhere to the concrete. This Change Order also adds the required Type I Thermoplastic striping items that are not included in the plans. Multiple items will be added by this Change Order. Please see attached Change Order.   

This Change Order results in a net increase of $67,778.02 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $17,926,669.41. The original Contract amount was $17,694,262.46. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $232,406.95 has been added to the Contract, resulting in an 1.31% net increase in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
