Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the renewal of the Title IV-E County Legal Services Contract with the Texas Department of Family Protective Services.
Background
This contract enables the County to be reimbursed for legal services provided in connection with Texas Department of Protective Services cases that fall under Title IV-E federal funding. This is to renew a contract that has been in place for many years. The current contract expires September 30, 2025. This new agreement has a term of October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2032. Legal has reviewed this agreement.
