Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to appoint John Gonzales, Director of EMS Emergency Medical Services, to serve as a voting Benefit Committee member.
Background
The first of two May Benefit Committee Meetings is scheduled for Friday, May 9th. In anticipation of the Benefit Committee approving this nomination and the recommendation to Commissioners Court for approval on Tuesday, May 13th. The second of the two May Benefit Committee Meetings is scheduled for Thursday, May 15th and should the Commissioners Court approve this nomination of appointing John Gonzales on May 13th, we will then have a full Benefit Committee.
