Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the creation of a new position and identify funding for a Lead Attorney for the County Attorney's office.

This new position request is to enable the County Attorney's office to work towards compliance with the recent directives by the Office of the Attorney General. The items requested involve reporting, case file review, statistical analysis and legal review. Funding can be to utilize unspent salary dollars or a transfer from 409. If a transfer is preferred, we will place one on the agenda for next week. The total amount needed is $39,430.57 to finish FY25.
