Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to authorize the first renewal of Contract #23RFP64 – Standby Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch with Austin Generator Service, including a price increase within the 25% limit, and continuing under the same terms and conditions for the 12-month period of October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026.

Discuss and take appropriate action to authorize the first renewal of Contract #23RFP64 with Austin Generator Service for standby generator and automatic transfer switch services for county facilities.  Contract #23RFP64 was originally awarded to Austin Generator Service and approved by the Commissioners Court on October 1, 2023, under Agenda Item #47, with a contract term through September 30, 2025. The vendor has provided satisfactory service during the initial term. This is the first renewal and includes a price adjustment that remains within the 25 percent threshold allowed under county procurement policy. All other terms and conditions of the original contract will remain unchanged for the renewal period, which runs from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026.
