Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a request for the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter to apply for a grant to aid in the care of shelter kittens from the Orphan Kitten Club.
Background
During the months of spring through early fall, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter receives an increased number of cats and kittens. This particular grant application, if awarded, would provide $40,000 to cover all costs associated with hiring temporary positions to aid in the care of kittens 12 weeks and younger and the supplies needed to support that care.
