Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on Renewal #1 for Contract #24RFP30 with JM Engineering, LLC., to provide HVAC maintenance services for Williamson County buildings, for the same terms and conditions as the original agreement but with an anticipated price increase, for the term of October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026.
Background
This is the first renewal of the awarded Contract #24RFP30 with JM Engineering, LLC. The original contract was approved by the Commissioners Court on April 9, 2024 (Agenda Item #57), for the term of April 9, 2024, through September 30, 2025, to provide HVAC maintenance services for Williamson County buildings. Renewal #1 is proposed for FY26, covering the period of October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026. The renewal will continue under the same terms and conditions as the original contract, but with an anticipated increased price for labor rates. JM Engineering, LLC has confirmed that the markup will remain at 20%. The Facilities Management Department requested Renewal #1 and confirmed the vendor has met all the County requirements for this contract. Funding Source: 01.0100.0509.004510 and 01.0100.0509.004509.
