Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a one-year Renewal and Amendment to the Agreement for Assessment Services with Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (BTCS) to complete assessments on potential applicants seeking participation in the Williamson County Veterans Treatment Court (WCVTC) and the misdemeanor DWI/Drug Court (DWI/Drug) programs.
Background
The Veterans Treatment Court and the DWI/Drug Court programs are operated through County Court at Law #2. They have a long history of being highly successful in addressing the critical thinking of individuals involved in the criminal justice system and helping to reduce recidivism.
