Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding approval and receipt of a vehicle reimbursement agreement with Red Poppy Charity Bike Ride for off-duty contracting of County Sheriff's deputies to be effective April 25, 2026.
Public Background
This is the annual renewal agreement that will give permission for the Red Poppy Charity organization to contract County Sheriff's deputies in a private capacity and the County to invoice them for deputy's vehicle usage. The bike ride is scheduled for April 25th with a make up date of April 26th in case of rain. The ride will begin at Georgetown High School and travel through eastern Williamson County.
