Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to authorize the Williamson County Sheriff's Office to accept equipment through the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

On January 6, 2026, the Commissioners Court approved the Sheriff's Office to apply for funding through the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation (agenda item #21). We are seeking approval from the court to accept an award of an inflatable rescue boat, trailer and accessories for use by our Swift Water Rescue Team, valued at $35,519.00. This grant requires no match or resolution.  Staff recommends the following action: Authorize the Sheriff's Office to accept this donation from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and permit appropriate County department personnel to complete documentation relevant to the implementation of the grant.
