Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an Agreement for Architectural and Engineering Services between Williamson County, Texas and Jackson & Ryan Architects, Inc. for Phase II Services consisting of Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding and Construction Administration to be performed in relation to the reconstruction and expansion of the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.

The county, in cooperation with the participating entities, intend to reconstruct and expand the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. The county and Jackson & Ryan Architects, Inc. (Jackson & Ryan) executed an Agreement for Architectural and Engineering Services for Phase I programming and schematic design services effective as of August 18, 2014; (“Phase I Agreement”). The county and Jackson & Ryan thereafter added Additional Services to the Phase I Agreement and set forth their agreements in an Amendment No. 1 to Agreement for Architectural and Engineering Services effective as of December 3, 2015 (“Amendment No. 1”). The county and Jackson & Ryan thereafter also executed a Supplemental Agreement to Amendment No. 1 in order to add presentation and work sessions to the scope of the Additional Services set forth under Section IV of Amendment No. 1.
 
Jackson & Ryan has completed the Phase I Programming and Schematic Design Services and the Additional Services set out and described in both the Phase I Agreement, Amendment No. 1 and Supplemental Agreement to Amendment No. 1. Pursuant to the Phase I Agreement, County and Jackson & Ryan now desire to proceed with contracting for the Phase II services, which consist of Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding and Construction Administration to be performed in relation to the reconstruction and expansion of the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.
