Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the approval and acceptance of FY16 Homeland Security Grant funds in the amount of $12,750. The project is for the purchase of an Annual HazMat Monitor Maintenance Service for the Hazardous Materials Response Team.
Background
This funding will be used to obtain an annual monitor maintenance contract, for grant funded hazmat monitors, to ensure equipment operability during response and to sustain the overall life of the equipment. This grant was formerly numbered 3030601. It was changed to 2957202 by the Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grant Division. A new Resolution is attached for signature with the new grant number included.
