Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on accepting grant funding from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans' Assistance.
Background
The Commissioners Court unanimously approved the application to the Texas Veterans Commission on November 1, 2016. This grant will augment the Governor's Office grant for the Williamson County Veterans Treatment Court. It will help provide more comprehensive services for veterans, including transportation assistance, the use of music in veterans recovery and assistance with life planning, which will help veterans achieve more effective and sustainable recovery.
