Consider and take appropriate action on accepting a donation of body armor ballistic plates and plate carriers for the Constable Precinct 1 office from Marlie Walker.

Ms. Walker is donating a total of 9 sets of HESCO body armor ballistic plates with 9 CONDOR ballistic plate carriers to the Precinct 1 Constable Office. The ballistic plates are capable of defeating multiple hits from rifle calibres commonly used by assault style weapons. The plates and vests will protect deputies responding to active shooter type situations and service of high risk warrants. To date Ms. Walker has donated several sets of the same type of ballistic plates and vests to other Williamson County law enforcement agencies in cluding the Williamson County Sheriff's Office and Constable's Offices. The donation will have no financial impact to the County.
