Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving a Services Contract for Fixed Asset Management Program and Software (BuyBoard Contract # 498-15) between Williamson County and RCI Technologies, Inc. for the amount of $63,500.00 and authorizing execution of the contract.
Background
The proposal for a Fixed Asset Management Program (FAMP) includes an on-site inventory of capital assets, cost research and delivery of a functional database. This includes placing a bar code label on each item valued at $500.00 or more and recording the description, bar code number and location (building and room) of each item. Each item will be recorded as an individual record, citing description, manufacturer, model, serial number, bar code number, old tag number (if tied to a viable database), building and room location.
