Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding policy determining which fires warrant investigation by the county fire marshal in the unincorporated areas within the county, including proposal to honor fire investigations requested by any member of the Williamson County Fire Chiefs Association, pursuant to authority granted to commissioners court under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code. § 352.013(b).
Background
Positions for the County Fire Marshal Office were funded during the FY18 annual budget process, with the expressed understanding that a County Fire Marshal office would be created.
