Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the acceptance of the Memorandum of Understanding with the State of Texas regarding statewide radio interoperability.
Background
The State of Texas is requiring all jurisdictions to enter into this memorandum of understanding, establishing radio usage guidelines and authorization to operate on the statewide interoperability channels. This is most prevalent during disasters and times in which mutual aid from neighboring jurisdictions occurs.
