Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the Technology Asset and Procurement Policy as proposed by the County Judge, Purchasing, Technology Services, Budget Office, and County Auditors.

This policy is a joint development between the County Judge, Purchasing, Technology Services, Budget Office, and County Auditors, who all had representatives meet and discuss ways to improve the tracking, procurement and management of technology items (as defined in the policy). Through meetings and discussions that have been underway for some time, the proposed policy was developed with input from all the participants. If approved by the Commissioner's Court, this would take effect Oct 1, 2018.
