Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a line item transfer for the Purchasing Department.
Background
The county currently has numerous Amazon business accounts. Amazon recently reached out to Williamson County to see if we would be interested in a trial Amazon "Prime" business account and consolidating all of these departmental accounts into one, single County account. The trial was successful and could potentially save the County thousands of dollars. Savings recently were upwards of $3000. However, there is an annual fee of $1300 to have this account. This transfer would facilitate payment of the Amazon Prime business account. Going forward, Purchasing will make this fund request during the annual budget process.
