Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the 2019 Emergency Management Performance Grant application and submission to the Texas Division of Emergency Management for funding consideration.
Background
Annually the Office of Emergency Management applies for grant funding through the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG). This grant provides up to a maximum of 50% reimbursement on eligible emergency management related activities and expenditures, historically the reimbursement is approximately 20% of submitted expenditures.
