Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #1903-307 Food Service for Juvenile Services to the overall best respondent, Aramark Correctional Services, LLC and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
Award of this Request for Proposals will support the operations of the Williamson County Juvenile Services Department. Twenty-nine suppliers viewed the solicitation with two submitting offers. Aramark scored highest on the evaluation criteria. Contract will commence on July 1st, 2019. Duration of this contract is for twelve months with four optional twelve month renewals. Expenditures for this RFP will be charged to 01.0100.0576.003306. Funding was approved in the FY2019 budget. Department contact is John Pelczar.
