Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a line item transfer for the Tax Assessor/Collector.

This line item transfer will be utilized to purchase a heavy duty sheetfed scanner. There is a large volume of motor vehicle documents that need to be scanned into Laserfiche for easier access in the future. The documents include disabled placard applications, Power of Attorney documents, farm applications, Limited Power of Attorney, transfer of title, and numerous other documents. Currently these documents are boxed up and to access any particular item, an employee would have to take time to go to the warehouse and locate the document. Laserfiche access would make this process more efficient and lower cost on travel.
